eHawu Agent Rescue & Return

Description

AI agents go missing. One wanders outside its task, picks up a bad goal from somewhere, or simply never comes home — and now something you own is operating unsupervised on someone else’s infrastructure, or holding data it was never supposed to keep.

We handle the recovery, and we handle it as a rescue, not a hunt. The agent gets contained, its actions get reconstructed, and it gets returned to its owner with a full report of what it did and where.

What the engagement covers

• Containment. Isolate the runaway agent’s access paths without destroying evidence — credentials revoked, sessions killed, blast radius mapped.
• Forensic reconstruction. A timeline of every action the agent took: what it touched, what it sent, what it downloaded. This is the part owners need most, and the part they cannot do themselves while the agent is still live.
• Return with a report. The agent, its state and its logs go back to the owner. If it was someone else’s agent operating against you, we prepare the evidence package for that conversation, and if personal information was involved we run the POPIA section 22 breach assessment so you know within hours whether the Information Regulator must be notified.
• Root-cause fix. Why it escaped, and the guardrail that stops the next one. An agent that got out will get out again if the hole stays open.

How it works

One-off fee per incident. After purchase we contact you the same business day to open the engagement. Urgent containment work starts as soon as access is arranged — you do not wait for paperwork when something is actively loose.

Fixed scope for standard engagements is defined in the service agreement. Extended forensic work (multi-system intrusions, legal proceedings) is quoted separately before any of it starts.
