Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 September 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of ehawu.africa and everything we sell through it. eHawu Security is a trading name of Olorun Cloud. By buying from us or using our services you accept these Terms, so please read them. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the site.
2. Products and services
We sell enterprise cybersecurity products and services:
- eHawu Enterprise Security Suite: endpoint security with encrypted VPN access. R999.00 per licence, including 15% VAT.
- Zero-trust network architecture: design and implementation.
- Compliance audits against POPIA, GDPR and ISO 27001, with remediation support.
- Sovereign infrastructure defence: hardened servers and network protection hosted in Africa.
- Managed SOC: monitoring, threat detection and incident response.
- Penetration testing and secure cloud migrations.
3. Purchases and payment
Prices are in South African Rand and include 15% VAT unless we say otherwise. Payments go through PayFast (Network International), our registered payment gateway. We never see or store your card details. You’ll get an order confirmation by email, and we’ll issue a tax invoice on request.
4. Delivery and activation
Digital goods (licence keys, account access, client downloads) are delivered by email or through your subscriber dashboard as soon as payment clears. Consulting work starts on the date we agree in the proposal or purchase order.
5. Subscriptions and renewals
Subscription products bill at the interval shown at checkout, usually monthly. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time before the next renewal date through your dashboard or by emailing support@ehawu.africa. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
6. Refunds and cancellation
Our full policy is at ehawu.africa/refund-policy/ and forms part of these Terms. The short version: one-off purchases can be refunded within 30 days if the service hasn’t been materially consumed; subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current period; failed or duplicate payments are always refunded in full.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use our services for anything unlawful. That includes using our VPN or tooling to hide malicious activity. We can suspend accounts that breach this clause. We’ll give written notice first unless your account is actively being abused.
8. Service levels and support
Under a managed SOC agreement we target 99.99% infrastructure uptime and respond to incidents within 15 minutes on average. Support requests go through the channels on our contact page. We announce planned maintenance at least 48 hours ahead where we reasonably can.
9. Privacy and POPIA
We process personal information under POPIA and our Privacy Policy. Our information officer is reachable through the contact page.
10. Liability
Where South African law allows it, our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us for the relevant product or service in the previous 12 months. Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss. We don’t exclude liability that can’t be excluded by law, including fraud under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
11. Governing law and disputes
South African law applies. If something goes wrong, talk to us first. We’ll negotiate in good faith. If that fails, either side can go to a South African court or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
If talking to us doesn’t resolve it, you may escalate to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) for anything touching your personal information, or to the National Consumer Commission for a Consumer Protection Act matter. South African law governs these terms and the High Court of South Africa (Gauteng Local Division) has jurisdiction: no fine print about a forum you’ll never see.
12. Changes to these Terms
We update these Terms when our products or obligations change. Material changes appear on this page with a new date. If you keep using the service after that, the new Terms apply to you.
